Ms. Yong Sze Yee

Ms Yong obtained her Bachelor of Law from the Universiy of Leeds in year 2008. Upon graduation, she volunteered as an advisor at the Citizen Advice Bureau in United Kingdom (Leeds) and provided advice to the local community in various sectors including housing, employment and other benefits. She was awarded the Vice- Chancellor International Scholarship by Machester Metropolitan University. She completed her Bar Vocational Course in year 2010.
 
She read law in the Chambers of Messrs Rahmat Lim & Partners in Kuala Lumpur and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2011. Since then, she has been active in the area of conveyancing. She is familiar with developer work, sub-sale in the secondary market and end financing with various financial institutions.
 
In year 2013, she set up Messrs, Yong & Rajah. Yong is the partner in charge of conveyancing department in Johor Bahru. She has advised both local and foreign corporate and individual clients on real property related matters, including sales and acquisition of residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial properties.   • Advising and conducting legal due diligence on various companies
  • Advising corporate clients in relation to take over of companies and the sale and purchase of shares in a business agreements.
 
2. Real Property & Banking
 
  • Advising and drafting of real property related agreements including sale and purchase agreements and tenancy agreements for individuals and developer clients.
  • Advising and structuring the acquisition and disposal of lands, including the following:-
i. Disposal of and industiral property in Johor for aggregate value of approximately RM 8 million.
ii. Sale and purchase of an agricultural land in Johor for aggregate value of approximately RM 6 million.
iii. Acquisition of various land and properties by foreign with consideration ranging from RM 1 million to RM 8 million .
iv. Advising, drafting and perusing banking documentation of various conventional and Islamic financial instituitions in respect of financing of residential, commercial and industrial properties.
v. Advising, drafting and perusing banking documentation of various conventional and Islamic financial instituitions in respect on individual and corporate client's refinancing of properties, overdraft facilities and construction loans.
