Ms. Eng Sok Yin (Andrea) LL.B (Hons) MMU   Eng Sok Yin (Andrea) graduated with LLB (Hons) from Multimedia University (MMU Melaka) in 2010 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in May 2011.   Andrea advises on matters related to banking and general litigation as well as motor-insurance.   She started her career by chambering in Messrs Dennis Nik & Wong, Kuala Lumpur and subsequently she joined Messrs Shook Lin & Bok and Messrs Christopher & Lee Ong in Kuala Lumpur, handled the portfolio of banking litigation, before being called to return to her hometown in Johor Bahru.   Upon her return, she joined Messrs Teo & Associates, Johor Bahru, where she handled third-party motor-insurance claims and thereafter she joined Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co. where she specializes in motor-insurance claims representing the insurance companies.   Subsequently, she moved on to in-house practice where she joined Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) as a Litigation Manager where all the litigation claims brought on behalf of and against PTP were monitored and handled by her. In order to gain regional exposure, she moved on to join Kerry Group as a Legal Counsel for region of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) where she handled all the legal related matters for the group.   She re-joined practicing with Messrs Grace Neo & Co in year 2022, handled mostly on real estate matters.   Education and Qualification   Andrea received her secondary education in Sekolah Menengah I.J. Convent Johor Bahru. Upon completion of her secondary education, she continued her studies and obtained her pre-university qualification, Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) from Sekolah Menengah Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru. Subsequently, she read law in Multimedia University and obtained her Bachelor o1 Law (Honours) in year 2010. She was called to the Bar on May 2011 as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
